![]() If the list of entries for your drop-down list is on another worksheet and you want to prevent users from seeing it or making changes, consider hiding and protecting that worksheet. For example, you might want to check to see if Change the column width and row height to show all your entries. Under Cell Size, click Row Height or Column Width, and then in the Row Height or Column Width box, type the value that you want to use for the row height or column width. After you create your drop-down list, make sure it works the way you want. Under Visibility, click Hide & Unhide, and then click Unhide Rows or Unhide Columns. On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format. In the Reference box, type A1, and then click OK. On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click Find & Select, and then click Go To. In the Name Box next to the formula bar, type A1, and then press ENTER.
